- Number and algebraSequences and series, exponents and logarithms, and, depending on the course and level, the binomial theorem, complex numbers and proof.
- FunctionsLinear, quadratic, exponential and logarithmic functions, transformations and modelling.
- Geometry and trigonometryAreas and volumes, trigonometric ratios and identities, the unit circle, and vectors at HL.
- Statistics and probabilityData analysis, regression, probability distributions, and hypothesis testing in AI.
- CalculusDifferentiation and integration and their applications, with differential equations at HL.
- The explorationGuidance on choosing a topic and structuring the internal assessment, within IB rules on authorship.
